Wedding Day Direction (part of Week-Of service)

On the wedding day, we are there to take care of tasks from small to large, so that you, your family and friends can relax and enjoy the day. Here's a detailed list (please scroll):

Make sure that the bride, groom, family and wedding party have everything they need.
Receive deliveries and greet vendors.
Provide vendors with a wedding day timeline.
Make wedding day “Emergency Kit” available.
Ensure that all flowers are handed out and boutonnieres are pinned.
Oversee setup of ceremony and reception areas.
Ensure programs, place cards, favours, are set up.
Direct guests to ceremony site.
Assist ushers if needed.
Find all members of the wedding party and line them up to walk down the aisle.
Let the bride know when it’s time to walk down the aisle, make sure she is ready.
Make sure the brides dress and train are perfect before she starts down the aisle.
Assist the musicians with any questions they have and anything they need.
Cue musicians.
Troubleshoot ceremony – help wedding party, provide water, etc.
Direct guests to the reception.
Assist photographer with photo shoot if needed.
Distribute final payments to vendors if requested.
Make sure the bride, groom, and wedding party are fed throughout the day.
Make sure all finishing touches are in place.
Make sure there is proper lighting, electricity, shade.
Keep candles lit throughout evening.
Assist guests with any questions.
Assist the DJ and MC.
Help with bustling brides dress if needed.
Help guests find their escort cards and seats at the reception.
Organize the Entrance into the reception, gather wedding party.
Ensure special guests are taken care of.
Communicate with banquet manager and catering staff; ensure meal runs smoothly.
Ensure those involved in toasts and speeches are ready.
Let bride and groom know what is coming up.
Assist with removing stains and dirt from brides dress when needed.
Keep the timeline running smoothly.
Organize everything into designated car or room at the end of the evening.
Collect gifts, guest book, pen, cake topper, etc.
Make sure transportation is on time for pickup.
Be the bride’s personal assistant throughout the day providing whatever she needs.
